Running low on battery mid-drive? It happens way too often. You’re heading to work, navigating with your phone, and suddenly your screen dims. Your phone’s dying, and the closest power outlet? Nowhere in sight.
This is exactly why in-car charging is essential. You use your phone for GPS, music, and hands-free calls. So keeping it charged is non-negotiable. And beyond phones, these chargers can also power up your dash cams, Bluetooth speakers, and more.
At Cygnett, we’ve got your back. Our range of in-car chargers keeps your devices powered up with USB-C, USB-A, wireless charging, and dual port options made for every setup.
How can I charge my devices in my car?
You’ve got two solid options: wired charging and wireless charging.
Wired car charging
Wired charging is your best bet for speed. Our USB-C car chargers come in 20W, 30W, 45W and 65W options. That’s enough to fast charge your iPhone (iPhone 15 and up), Android devices like the Galaxy S25, iPad, Apple Watch, and more.
You’ll also find dual USB options, like a dual USB-A car charger or dual USB-C car charger for charging two devices at once. They're perfect for powering your phone and tablet simultaneously on long road trips. Just plug into your car’s 12-24V outlet, connect your charging cables, and you’re off.
Wireless car charging
Wireless car chargers make charging seamless. Just snap your phone in, and it starts charging. Our MagSafe-compatible car mounts make this even easier. From vent mounts and dash mounts to window mounts, we’ve got wireless chargers that suit your car and phone setup. Some even feature extendable arms, automated grips, and up to 15W of output.
Choosing the best in-car charger for your setup
Here’s what to think about before you add to cart:
Power output: For fast charge, go for 20W and above
USB port type: USB-C for newer phones and tablets, USB-A for older devices
Number of ports: A dual port car charger let you charge two devices at once
Mount type: Air vent, window or dash, depending on your preference
Wireless or wired: Wireless chargers are great for MagSafe iPhones or Androids with magnetic cases. Go wired if you're after fast charging.
Device compatibility: Make sure your charger supports your phone’s charging standard
Are there fast-charging car chargers?
Yes, and they’re some of our best sellers! Our USB-C car chargers range from 20W all the way up to 65W. That’s enough to fast charge your iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, iPad, or even smaller USB type-C laptops and notebooks.
Need to see your phone while charging? Pair your fast charger with one of our car vent mounts, dash mounts, or window mount phone holders.
And don’t forget the connector. To get the most out of your charger, use a USB-C to USB-C cable with matching wattage and Power Delivery (PD) support. A 65W charger won’t reach full speed with a 20W cable.
Also, keep in mind that while 65W is great for phones and tablets, it's not enough to fast-charge powerful laptops like the MacBook Pro.
Are wireless car chargers easy to install and use?
Absolutely. Just clip them into your car’s air vent or stick them to your dash or window. Plug in the power adapter, and you’re set. If you have a MagSafe-compatible phone or magnetic case, it’ll snap into place securely.
Some of our wireless car chargers also come with automated arms, strong magnets, and high-speed wireless charging up to 15W. Options like our Magnetic Window Mount or Magnetic Extendable Mount even let you adjust your phone’s position with one hand.
Just remember, wireless charging only works with devices that support it. So check your phone’s compatibility first.
Are car phone chargers compatible with all devices?
Cygnett’s in-car chargers are designed with wide compatibility in mind. It's packed with features like:
1. USB-C and/or USB-A ports for older and newer devices
2. USB-C PD and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) support for fast charging
3. wired and wireless charging options
4. magnetic and cradle-type hold (for wireless chargers)
5. outputs ranging from 12W to 65W, perfect for charging anything from phones to tablets
So no matter what devices you’ve got in the car, there’s a Cygnett car charger for you.
Will car chargers drain your battery or damage your phone?
Nope. All Cygnett in-car chargers are built with smart tech that prevents overcharging, overheating, and short circuits. Plus, if your engine’s off, most cars cut power to the 12V socket, so no battery drain either.
Can I use a car phone charger while the engine is off?
You can, but it depends on your car. Some 12V power outlets stay live even after the engine’s off. Others cut power. If your port stays active, it’s fine to top up your phone. But we don’t recommend charging big devices like tablets or laptops without the engine running as it can drain your car battery.
