In 2019, while playing for Syracuse University in the US, Tiana was named in the preliminary roster to represent Australia in the 2020 Olympics. However, in May 2023, Tiana announced her retirement due to a re-diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer, which has now spread to other parts of her body.
