So an iPhone screen protector won't protect your iPhone if you are this rough:
But they do protect your screen from scratches and everyday wear and tear.
So here is a short tutorial on exactly how to install one. There is also fantastic a video which is really easy to follow.
Things You'll Need:
-
iPhone or iPod
-
Screen Protector
-
Cleaning Cloth
-
Credit card/business card
-
Patience
-
Step 1
Create a clean work area free of dust and pet hair. If you have animals, put them away too.
-
Step 2
Clean your hands.
-
Step 3
Take your cleaning cloth and clean your IPhone/iPod screen. You can use it dry but if you have some stubborn marks, use a designated spray plus your cloth.
-
Step 4
Start to peel back the plastic sheet on your screen protector. Be careful not to touch the static cling/sticky side. Many screen protectors have tabs you can hold.
-
Step 5
Allign the hole to the speaker and pay attention to the edges to ensure a straight fit.
-
Step 6
Work slowly and use your credit card to keep a tension on the screen protector as you move it down your screen. This helps keep air bubbles out. You can also pull the area on and off if you see a bubble and it will reapply without bubbles.
-
Step 7
Allign the home button and carefully let go of the screen protector and it will cling. Use credit card to work out any bubbles
